James Latham Cladding
Accoya cladding collection
by James LathamJames Latham supplies a comprehensive range of Accoya cladding types and specifications to suit your architectural projects.
Coatings are offered to suit every aesthetic. Tests even show coated Accoya cladding maintains its appearance up to two times longer than standard wooden cladding boards, extending maintenance cycles and reducing costs.
Coatings and Finishes
Accoya cladding can be left to weather naturally and will eventually turn a grey colour over time. For more information see our technical weathering document.
If you prefer, you can choose to stain or paint Accoya to achieve the look you require. If you wish to avoid natural weathering there are many coatings options available please see below for further information on coatings and contact us if you have any questions or to enquire.
James Latham offers Accoya cladding with coatings and stains tested by leading manufacturers. These coating manufacturers include:
– Teknos
– Sikkens
– Morrells
– Sansin
Finish Line
A low VoC, non-film coating in 12 exclusive, contemporary colours. The penetrating, matt finish allows the beauty of the grain to show through. The Accoya’s uniquely sanded and brushed surface allows the non-film based Sansin coating to penetrate beneath the surface of the timber, allowing the paint to bind to the cells preventing peeling and cracking.

Specifying Accoya
To specify James Latham Accoya cladding, visit NBS Source.
Increasingly timber is being specified for cladding, horizontal and vertical louvre blades and Brise Soleil. Often when used outside, timber can deteriorate quickly, however due to Accoya being the most durable and stable of all wood species it remains looking pristine for longer over any other woods used for cladding – Larch, Western Red Cedar or Oak.
